ELIGIBLE VEHICLES– All vehicles must comply with MSA Regulations R18 to R18.6.4


ENGINE


The engine capacity must not be larger than was fitted to that make and model of vehicle by the manufacturer
Cylinder bores may be 60 thousandths of an inch oversize.
The engine stroke must remain as standard

 

GEARBOX


Manual gearbox gear selection to be H pattern. Automatic gearboxes are permitted providing they are as fitted by the manufacturer to that make and model of car.

Nope! You can get a 2.0 Escort. Nothin in the rules about the variant ie Mk1, Mk2, Mk3 etc. ;-)

Does this mean that all four door Escorts will be either 1.1,1.3 or 1.6 unless they have an austraian 2.0ltr car and log book??
